3D DVD: Watch And Decide For Yourself
The 3D Technology is invading the theaters now. A lot of people are really wowed when they see the movies they are watching in 3D. It all seems so real, they say! However, when the same 3D technology is applied on TV, the public’s reaction is not as grand. People complain about how the glasses decrease the movies’ over all quality. And some say that the movie is better if seen in its 2D version. But we are not trying to conceal the truth that there are people who enjoy watching their movies in 3D at home. We all have different tastes anyway. So if you already have your 3D ready HDTV, try checking these 3D DVD out and decide for yourself if the 3D technology that you brought to your home is really worth the colossal pay.
Spy Kids 3D: Game Over
The famous series from Robert Rodriguez is back on its third installment and it now features high-tech 3-D animation incorporated into the images of the movie with digital technology. The story starts as Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara) decides to quit the OSS spy Agency. The agency’s president (George Clooney, in one of the film’s number of cameos) then informs him that the evil Toymaker played by Sylvester Stallone has taken his sister Carmen played by Alexa Vega hostage in a virtual reality videogame that the Toymaker created to have control over the minds of the young people playing it. Juni must risk his own life inside the game to win in it. Leaving his parents (Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino) behind, Juni brings along his Grandfather (Ricardo Montelban) and OSS agents Cesca (Salma Hayek) and Donnagon Giggles (Mike Judge) to help him ensure the safety of Carmen and that of the rest of the world. Inside the technicolor reality Juni must emerge victorious in each level of the game while trying to avoid his own death and the feared videogame defeat phrase “game over.”
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Professor Trevor Anderson (Brendan Fraser) welcomes his nephew Sean Anderson to his really dirty home. He is to spend ten days with his uncle while his mother, Elizabeth, gets ready to move to Canada. Elizabeth gives a box to Trevor that belonged to his missing brother, Max. Inside it, Trevor is able to find a book with awesome references to his brother’s last journeys. Looking for an adventure, he decides to follow his missing brother’s footsteps with nephew Sean and they both travel to Iceland, unbeknownst to the teenager’s mother, where they meet the guide Hannah Ásgeirsson. Asgeirsson tells them the story of a family member which is parallel to the writings in Trevor’s brother’s journal. Although the stories are absurd, all three of them decide to find out for themselves and tried to follow the clues made available to them. While climbing a mountain, they are met by a thunderstorm and they had to hide in cave. A lightning then destroys the only entrance of the cave, trapping all of them inside it. They seek an exit but instead falls in a hole to a lost world in the Center of the Earth, where adventure and lots of discoveries about Max’s story is waiting for them.
Now, these are just to movies that are now available in 3D DVD. There are lots of them. So, please don’t stop yourself to look for the right 3D DVDs version of movies of the right genre and should we say right cast. After all, you still have the issue of 3D satisfaction to decide on and maybe a movie that really fits your standards could help you in making the decision.
