Christmas is Close, Best Christmas Movies

Christmas time is only around the corner, it seems as though the year has literally flown by, everyone has begun stocking their Christmas day products and the atmospheric condition as expected has turned really chilly. In my impression one of the best things about Christmas is the fact that you get to watch some nice seasonal and warming films, that are utterly charming. So lets take a look at some of the steady Christmas day films that are constantly shown.

Home Alone

Who can forget the home alone films, probably one of the funniest films ever created. Macaulay Culkin stuck at home on his own, while thieves try to break in, he does everything in his power to stock them.

Die Hard

Although really not a regular themed movie, die hard was a film that wass totally different and something that went down the action route. A film that is still very much loved to this current day.

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas carol was one of those film that just delighted the whole globe, the motion picture that was made over 5 decades ago, still to this current day captivates the globe. A 2009 remake of the classic movie is set to bring all of the magic back to life.

The Santa Clause

Where would Christmas be without Santa, The Santa Clause was again a great film which still to this current day gets watched every single year. A must see movie at least once a year.

There are so many more Christmas movies being released every year, some are classics and some are not, but which one do you delight wrapping up in a blanket and watching in the cold wintertime months?

Scary Horror Movies for Christmas

Christmas is a time of magic, giving and receiving and believing in Santa. There are some great loving and warming Christmas movies around but Christmas also seems to be the time for Horror. Some of the best Horror movies are always released around the Christmas period, so lets cast our minds back to see some of the best Christmas horror movies.

Gremlins

Who can forget the gremlins, and who can forget when water was dropped on the gremlins which made them multiple and then wreak havoc everyplace. A classic, but one that was not too scary.

Black Christmas

Both the original and redo were utterly splendid films, when you receive an obscene phone call around the Christmas period, you definitely know that something is wrong. Black Christmas is one of the best slasher horror films ever created.

To all a Good Night

Although over 3 decades old now, this film still has to be one of the most terrifying, students start a big party until they begin getting killed off one by one. But who is the culprit? Could the killings have anything to do with the young lady who was killed in an initiation stunt at the school a few years sooner?

Childs Play

Who can forget the chucky films, they used to scare me out of my wit. Merely because the dolly used to hide and kill and then hide and kill. It was a classic film, but once again got relatively over exploited. What I mean by this is that they made so many different sequels that it ended up getting boring and you knew what was going to happen and the storyline just became the same old after just five minutes of viewing.
