Not your usual film review. This is my summary of Xmen Origins Wolverine in ten points. You had better skip this part if you don’t want to know the story!
The Storyline of Wolverine:
1. Meet Logan (Jackman) as a boy and a young sabretooth (Victor) 2. See the hairy duo serving in many wars and battles over the years. Ie. he’s an old dude! 3. Logan & Victor join an elite corps of soldiers that go on missions with similar super powered dudes 4. Logan leaves elite corps cos he disagrees with all the pointless blood and violence man. hairy mate Victor is not happy! 5. Catch up with Logan a few years on. He lives on a big rock in Canada with a lovely lady school teacher. He chops trees for a living 6. Victor appears to kill chick leaving Logan one angry wolf but he is out of practice when it comes to fighting Victor 7. Logan get a body lift from old elite army corps dude and gets his Wolverine dog tags 8. New and super powerful Wolverine goes hunting Victor down and while doing so finds out the elite army general dude is experimenting on mutants and goes to check it out 9. The chick he thought was dead isn’t; she was a plant and the bad army dude has pinched all mutants powers and made one super mutant killing machine who he sent after Wolverine to kill him dead! 10. Wolverine survives but gets a special bullet fired into his head and loses his memory. His lady dies for real but as he doesnt remember her really he’s not too bothered.
How to Watch Wolverine
At the time of writing this article Wolverine is still not available on DVD but you really should take a night out to watch Wolverine at the cinema. Ladies get to see a semi naked wolverine complete with buffed hairy torso on a huge screen. Guys get to see lots of fighting action with the surround sound only a cinema can offer.

This show won her the Television Broadcast of the Year at the Guild of Food Writers Awards. Her sultry, sensual approach to cooking has also gone down well in America and gained her fans both male and female. Though while popular with the pulbic, her daytime tv show ‘Nigella’ was cancelled after a week on air due to poor viewer figures. Just as good on paper, having sold well over a total of 3 million books, she is just a good with a pen as well as in front of a camera.
Jamie Oliver. The ‘Naked chef’ was working as a ‘sous chef’ in Fulham by the BBC. According to an interview with Jerry Bruckheimer, the movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal who has been in many good movies including Rendition (2007), Zodiac (2007) and Brokeback Mountain (2005). Sir Ben Kinglsey also stars in the movie.
The Prince of Persia follows a street urchin called Dastan who is befriended by the King because of his bravery. The King wants the young man to be part of his family; despite the fact he already has two sons. The King doesn’t want his 2 sons skirmishing over the kingdom.

Jake brings his good looks to the role. He really worked out in the gym for his character and, therefore, is in terrific fitness. He’s also a great actor, youthful with massive amounts of talent.
It was filmed in Morocco during the summer; therefore temperatures soared to over 100 degrees. The actors had to wear big costumes, but they lived through the experience.
Jake is quoted saying “the movie is so enormous and so many people have put their time and energy into making a film like this. It’s awesome.”
Jerry emphasizes that the film is a massive epic set in a huge world with massive fantasy. It far exceeds what you may have seen in a movie before. Jake thinks Jerry is trying to outdo Jerry.

Like the Kirk/ Picard battles this has split Trek fans into two camps, as some people are caring for the added action over intelligent plot, which is probably what is making it more accessible to the general public. Just what does the huge success of this movie mean for the future of Star Trek? Will that once canned tv show see an appearance at last? Or more importantly, will we get another movie out of it?
The film also has a higher amount of humor than the tv shows- most of it coming from Britain’s own Simon Pegg as engineer Scotty. So why has this movie brought the franchise back? Everyone knows the original crew for the most part, its been given a sense of humor and much more action than the original tv series -It seems to be everything that a summer blockbuster needs to be.
